EPCOT Photography Meetup

I’m a member of Walts Camera Club, a Facebook group that organizes meetups at the Disney World Parks for amateur photography. On August 25 we had a photography meetup at Disneys EPCOT. We just wandered the park for a few hours capturing images of whatever grabbed our interest. These are a few shots from yours truly.

And so it begins….Again

I have discovered that a blog is easy and fun to start, but difficult to maintain. This here is my latest attempt to have a blog AND update it regularly. It won’t be daily and perhaps not even weekly, but I want to get in the habit of posting whenever I have some meaningful content.

This week the wife and I enjoyed a “Staycation” at Disney worlds Yacht Club resort. Being local to Orlando, we sometimes get offers from the local theme parks. This one was too good to pass up, especially since I have been waiting for the opportunity to stay in one of Disneys “Deluxe” resorts.

Overall our stay was pretty nice. The room was very nice and we could tell that it was recently renovated. Another big reason we jumped at this deal was because the Yacht Club resort is dog friendly, so Bosco came with! We didn’t spend much time at the parks, we just wanted to take advantage of the resort amenities, which ended up being the pool. I also took advantage of the resort grounds and surrounding area which made for some great photo opportunities.
